Transport from Stockholm to Sköldinge church
Sköldinge is a small town in Sörmland, 140 km SW of Stockholm. Torbjörn's great grandfather was the dean (priest) of this parish.
We will provide group bus transportation from Stockholm to the church and onwards to the reception.
The bus will leave downtown Stockholm between 11:00 and 12.00 am, August 21. Exact meeting place and departure time for the bus will be announced here. Stand by for more information.
NOTE: The bus will go directly to the church for the ceremony. It will not stop by the Mariefred hotels first.

Transport from Sköldinge church to Mariefred
After the church ceremony, the group bus will go to Mariefred and drop you off at your Mariefred hotels so you can check into your room before the reception. The various Mariefred Hotels are minutes walking distance to the reception site. Stand by for more information.

Train
There are frequent trains from Mariefred to Stockholm. There is bus, taxi or steam train connection from your hotel to the Mariefred Intercity train station. The train ride to Stockholm is approx. 40 minutes and leaves every hour. However, there is a transfer from the hotel to the train station with local bus or taxi (3 kilometers) so you should budget time for that. Please check with the hotel when you need to leave and book a suitable mode of transfer.
