Transport from Stockholm to Sköldinge church

Sköldinge is a small town in Sörmland, 140 km SW of Stockholm. Torbjörn's great grandfather was the dean (priest) of this parish.

We will provide group bus transportation from Stockholm to the church and onwards to the reception. The return to Stockholm on Sunday will be done individually, more details below.

The bus will leave downtown Stockholm  City Terminal 11:30 sharp, August 21. The City Terminal is located adjacent to Stockholm Central station, follow the signs for 'Cityterminalen' from the Central Station. In the City Terminal the departures and departure gates will be announced on screens (like in an airport) . Look for that departure 'Lin-Möller Wedding, Sköldinge'. Allow sufficient time from the Central Station or the T-Central (the nearest metro station)
NOTE: The bus will go directly to the church for the ceremony. It will not stop by the Mariefred hotels on the way to the wedding.

Transport from Sköldinge church to Mariefred

After the church ceremony, the group bus will go to Mariefred and drop you off at your Mariefred hotels so you can check into your rooms before the reception. The various Mariefred Hotels are minutes walking distance to the reception site. Check the Mariefred Accommodation page to book hotel rooms for August 21.

Transport from Mariefred to Stockholm

Train

There are frequent trains from Mariefred to Stockholm. There is bus, taxi or steam train connection from your hotel to the Läggesta Intercity train station close to Marierfred. The train ride to Stockholm is approx. 40 minutes and leaves every hour. You can take a bus or taxi (3 kilometers) from your hotel to the train station. Please check with the hotel when you need to leave and book a suitable mode of transfer.
